Madison and Milwaukee among the first cities in weekend of 80+ actions demanding VP Harris and Democratic leaders pledge to halt all U.S. weapons for Israel and to enact a ceasefire.
Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin — Today, hundreds gathered in front of Wisconsin’s state capitol building and in downtown Milwaukee to call on Vice President Harris to pledge to halting all weapons for Israel and enacting a ceasefire. Thousands of voters in Milwaukee and Madison were among over 48,000 “uninstructed” ballots in the April Democratic Presidential Primary, more than doubling President Biden’s margin of victory from 2020. Those two cities remain in the national spotlight as crucial battlegrounds for the November presidential election.
